Between its greenways and its landscaped canals, Brittany is an ideal land for cycling holidays. Its large network allows you to create your own trip, alone, with your family or in a group.
Brittany's greenways and cycle routes
Greenways are paths built on old railways, away from motorized traffic. They are dedicated to the practice of soft modes of transport, such as walks on foot, by bike, on horseback...
The greenways offer convenient access to everyone, whatever your physical condition (young children, people with reduced mobility).
Cycle routes are secure, continuous and signposted medium or long distance cycle routes, connecting regions to each other and crossing towns in good conditions. A cycle route follows a pleasant, secure and attractive route, avoiding excessive drops in height and overcrowded roads.
Greenways and cycle paths departing from Naéco hostels
To discover Brittany by bike, no less than 8 large cycle paths and greenways crisscross the territory from north to south and from east to west. They offer all lovers of nature holidays nearly 2000 kilometers of marked routes. The pleasure of discovery in complete freedom!
Naéco Le Pouldu and Naéco Audierne are located next to Route 5 Bretagne, also called V45 "La Littorale". A well-designed route for traveling by bike from one Naéco establishment to another!
The route alternates between secure lanes and shared lanes, with a majority of sections on small roads.
The V5 offers you a ride along the Breton coasts, along the famous GR34, with a superb view of the Breton coasts, as close as possible to nature.
If you travel these routes, we recommend that you equip yourself with a road bike, all-terrain bike or mountain bike (MTB), to be as comfortable as possible.
Naéco offers for soft transport
At Naéco Hostels, we want to promote soft modes of transport as much as possible. This is how we offer special rates and reductions all year round in our Naéco hostels for our guests on foot and by bike.
