On Sunday, April 25, 2021, on the occasion of the tree week organized by the Audierne Town Hall, our Naéco#Responsables team is organizing a day of initiation to climbing alongside Frédéric Aimerie, sports educator and climber of Penn Ar Barr.
Tree week in Audierne
From April 19 to 25, 2021, Tree Week took place in Audierne. Organized by the municipality of Audierne and Cap Sizun, it gave the opportunity to various local associations to carry out a project that contributes to the development of the municipality in terms of social, sporting and cultural events. During this special week, the public had the opportunity to discover nature in a fun way and to be made aware of its protection through workshops and outdoor activities.
Naéco#Responsables and Penn Ar Barr in the Bois de Locquéran
On the occasion of this week nature, our association Naéco#Responsables is organizing the Climbing in the Trees activity in our establishment in Audierne, located in the heart of the Bois de Locquéran. On Sunday, April 25, 2021, the Penn Ar Barr team led by Frédéric, put in place all the necessary equipment for the organization of the day climbs in our Naéco park.
Throughout the day, participants came to discover and initiate this animation. More than 80 people enthusiastically took part in this unusual sport. The children left with a tree climber diploma. In addition, display panels were put on display to explain in a fun way the various species of trees, their life, their roles in nature and their ecosystems. A snack was also offered on site as well as the possibility of obtaining the goodies of our association. It was a successful first edition for all the teams present!
