backpack for a trek in Brittany

What to put in your backpack for a trek in Brittany?

To prepare a hike, it is important to be equipped. Here is a list of essentials not to forget!

Brittany is a region rich in landscapes and walks, its GR34 hiking trail runs along its entire coastline for 2000km. It allows you to visit Brittany on foot, starting from Mont Saint-Michel in the Manche and ending in Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.

Our establishments Naéco AudierneNaéco Le Pouldu et Naéco Erdeven in South Brittany are located on the GR34 and at the start of many hikes in South Brittany. Discover our favourite walks in our Naéco roadbooks.

Like any self-respecting backpacker, you need to be equipped and organised!

First of all, before starting to prepare your bag, think of looking at the weather forecast in order to be able to take things accordingly.

Then, the two most important elements for a good hike in Brittany are :

1) a good pair of shoes
2) a good backpack

  • A stove
  • Seeds, cereal bars, dried fruit, etc.
